The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling i3 EVO. They differ only in that the i3+ comes with self-emptying capabilities. The i3+ is a great option for those who want an automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but are willing to manually empty the dustbin of the robot after it has filled up.
Both robots are good at picking up surface dirt on floors and carpets and can move around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes smart maps of your home that help the i3+ EVO navigate and clean in a way that maximizes efficiency. The i3+ doesn't have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or any other top-rated robots we tested. It can be stuck on power cords or socks and have trouble moving between different surfaces, like carpet and hardwood.
iRobot recommends that you tidy the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other items it may encounter. It's also an excellent idea to keep the dustbin and filter clean so they do not become blocked by dirt. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and takes the dirt out of the docking station's external dustbin. It then continues cleaning where it began. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for about an hour and a half of continuous use. It takes about three hours to fully recharge.
2. Roomba from iRobot
The iRobot i7+ is a top model from iRobot’s flagship line and comes with the latest technology. It's self-charging, self-navigating and the most crucial feature of all -- it has self-emptying bins that eliminate one of the main sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.
The Roomba I7+ can make rooms more efficient maps using Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning jobs, and you can control your robot through the app or voice.
In our tests, the i7+ was faster and more maneuverable than our runner-up which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it picked up large pieces of pet hair from all surfaces kinds including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin which eliminates major sources of maintenance and reduces recurring cost.
We were also awestruck by the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room and vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. We were able, once connected, to speak commands to the i7+ such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it isn't equipped with the mapping capability of more sophisticated models such as our top picks and the i3+ EVO and the j7+ series. This means that it may get stuck on things like phone cords and low furniture, and it frequently runs out of battery power before returning to its home base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694, as it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, is equipped with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, has a lower costs for recurring expenses and has more advanced automation capabilities and is better able to navigate its own. In our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and removed 86% of dog hair (on carpet). However, it wasn't particularly well with taller objects like cords and socks which was disappointing. It's also more expensive than the other models that we tested, and this could be a deal breaker for some buyers.
